The details
The initials stand for Dining (height) Side (chair) Wood (base) and the chair was one of the series of chairs that shared the same comfortable seat shell, originally made from fibreglass and now available in ABS. In 1950's it went on to be the first mass produced plastic chair and remains to this day an iconic piece that defines an era yet still remains timeless. Our high quality reproduction of Charles & Ray Eames DAW chair closely respects the original specifications in terms of materials, build quality and design attributes. The only difference between the DSR and the DSW is that the base on the DSW is constructed from solid beech wood with black supporting steel rods. This is to facilitate taste differentials as some people prefer warmer look of wood to that of steel.WHY BUY FROM US?
